Student Interview

Our process starts with the parent/student interview.  We talk with you about your child's needs: their academic history, current situation, grade level, teacher, subject, textbook.  We also like to find out something about your child's personality: their special interests, hobbies, or other characteristics which can contribute to a total understanding of your needs.  This interview is free and without obligation.

Tutor Selection

The next step is to use our matchmaking skills to select just the right tutor for your child.  One who will be a good fit not only academically, but in terms of personality.  We intend to help your child build a relationship with his tutor, so, barring unforeseen circumstances, your child will continue through the semester with the same tutor.

Flexible Hours

At Get Smart Educational Services there are no contracts or minimum number of hours to purchase.  Our clients may use our services for as long as they need us – whether it’s just for a quick test prep or a long-term learning experience.  While a regular tutoring schedule promotes learning, we know there are times when the schedule needs flexibility.  So if your child has a medical appointment one week, for example, it's easy to reschedule directly with the tutor.  Or if you'd like the tutor to spend a little more time with your child before an important exam, that's OK too.
